Hear from legendary political journalist George Megalogenis as he sheds light on the forces reshaping our national identity in an intimate evening of dinner and conversation at RESIDENCE at the Potter.
George Megalogenis is one of Australia’s leading political and economic thinkers, with a keen eye for identifying big-picture global trends. Now, he turns his attention to the social and political forces that are defining – and redefining – the nation’s politics as Australia charts its course through the 21st century.
Over a refined two-course meal at RESIDENCE at the Potter, Megalogenis discusses his new book Three Shocks, the inside story of which Australian political parties are keeping up with the times and which of those are getting left behind. He lays out the three major societal shifts that are contributing to these changes and illuminates how demographic, economic and social trends are shaping the political mood of the nation.
Join Megalogenis for a deeply insightful exploration of the structural shifts occurring in Australia’s political landscape. With host Professor Glyn Davis, the interim Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne.
